The feather and the face are of making a good-looking photograph. I am wondering what it does look like with colors, although black and white are doing a much good job of expressing such a piece of art.

i can't believe how beautiful this looks, well it was such a spontaneous shot, yes the model is indeed very charming, but this shot is absolutely fabulous.
with that twinkling background, because of the beautifully high contrast and the tree leaves.
yes the high contrast does it all! with that young silky hair and the sun shining off it! to the brightness of her hand! to the depth that is the result of the contrast (especially with the feather, the way you can just feel her breath on it, and her very deep eyes and little pouty lips the upper darker than the lower)

i can imagine it bein good in colour, but i think the b/w is what defines the lines in this picture. which is a lot to say because it is very easy to use b/w as an excuse for trying to convey emotion in a picture, when a pic was empty of it in colour.

anyway...really beautiful picture!

Very good indeed. Soft feather, little child and good expression in the face make good feeling of summer and sunshine to this. Only thing that distracts little bit in my opinion in this is that dark background that contains white spots. I mean that this could be better if that background whould be almost complete smooth dark background without those white things. Yes, I understand what and why those are there but it is just my humble opinion. Good work still.

Beautiful little girl, beautiful portrait...very nice contrast and composition...you really caught the moment in this image. I love the feather and it just goes perfectly with her youthfulness. Very, very nice!
